Nicola Smith
Research Assistant

Nicola has worked in project and marketing manager roles in the arts, third sector and healthcare for 20 years. She has degrees in Arts Management, Occupational Therapy and graduated as a chosen bursary student of Coventry University’s Global Leadership Programme in 2020.

Nicola currently works in the voluntary sector, managing a three-year project that aims to reduce social isolation and health inequality through community engagement, volunteering and graded participation in meaningful groups and activities.

She volunteers for Dunchurch Community Garden, likes to keep fit, loves Latin dancing, is a swim teacher and is also building competencies in Governance and Charity Leadership.

Nicola’s strengths are organisational development, marketing strategy, therapeutic group work, outcome measures and evaluation of person-centred targets and setting up partnerships.  She is full of bright ideas and loves meeting new people and finding out about their passions and goals.
